Problem with Paradigm mini monitor v1 tweeters.

Hi, im not sure if this is the correct forum to write this .. I recently bought a pair of Paradigm mini monitor v1 wich one of the tweeters doesnt work anymore.
I remove both tweeters one reads 5.9 homs aprox. and the bad tweeter read 0 ohm.
i put a emergency 8 ohm tweeter (removed from a old speakers) on the bad speaker cabinet, for my surprise... didnt work. (the emergency tweeter is working in the good cabinet speaker)
With this result i swap the working original tweeter in the bad cabinet and doesnt work too. No matter what tweeter i put in the bad cabinet it doesnt work. im not sure if is a crossover problem or similar , i remove the crossover and apply heat on many cold joint and still doesnt work, i dont know what to do? Please help.. i dont have pictures right now but if is necesary i will make a captures. Thanks.

So your bad tweeter is shorted and your wiring or crossover is open. Track down where it is open.
my wiring open? what you mean? i need to change the wire from crossover to tweeter or what? sorry if i dont understand but im new reapiring this things..
 
An open is a failed connection. Your voice coil on the bad tweeter is likely burnt, fused and shorted out. A dead short makes a connection in the wrong place.

Now, say, if you run enough amperage through a wire so that you burned out a section - burned into two pieces, that would result in an open circuit, thus one unable to pass current. The voice coil is fused (or shorted somewhere) so it measures zero ohms. Your crossover (or wiring) is open, so no tweeter works because no electrical signal is flowing.

Are you sure it's reading zero ohms, not open circuit?
When you "removed the tweeters", did you disconnect them from the crossover before taking the measurements?
A fried tweeter is more likely to go open circuit than short circuit.
Anyway, since whatever tweeter you put into the bad cabinet won't work, it seems that the crossover or wiring to/from the crossover is at fault.

Maybe i didnt explain properly but yes i disconnected the bad tweeter from the crossover and reads 0 ohm. Its fried but the woofer is still working normally. I changed the bad tweeter with a emergency tweeter only for test and didnt work. Only work the woofer no matter what tweeter i put in. I pulled out the crossover and looks good , no bad capacitors and apllied heat to all suspicious cold joints and didnt work the tweeters too. So i need to replace wires that connect crossover to tweeter? Thank you.

If you familiar with a meter, do a continuity reading, not ohm meter reading. This way you can tell if is an open circuit or short circuit.

I have done the continuity test on the crossover to tweeter wires and they have continuity.
only bad tweeter reads 0 ohm and has no continuity

The continuity test was just used for open circuit. If it buzz with the meter then the tweeter could be good.
No continuity on the tweeter. Is dead.
The crossover is faulty too but i dont know if it can be repaired or how, only woofers work with that xover.
