I have CT-F950 with rebuilt TU motor. It works sometimes few hours without the problem. Sometimes only few minutes and take up reel will be stopped. At this moment the TU motor voltage quickly drops from 8.2 volts to zero ...
i dont have any ideas, where to search a reason of that issue. Maybe you have a hints to share :)

The reel motor in the newer CT-F series decks are problematic, as they dead spot like many reel motors in countless Sankyo transports do. The problem though is these motors are special in that they have two centrifugal switches in them to regulate torque, so replacement is not straight forward. There are electrical modifications to do if you adapt a conventional reel motor to it. I have tried numerous times to refurbish these original motors and they usually work for a while but always dead spot again eventually.
