Here are some current units that I snagged recently. Obviously, I have problem with buying stuff, but this is my hobby and I enjoy it very much.
I remember when I was ten ~1984 and my father brought home a used stereo for my room... someone he knew well had passed away and his wife gave to my father then to me.
SA-500
Pioneer Cassette Deck
Altec-14s (seriously)
30 years later - I was tired of the black plastic and the current sound reproduction. I started buying vintage units, then not too long after rebuilding them based on what I saw here in the forms. Have gifted three units so far: STA-2100, SX-750, SX-727 all fully recapped and rebuilt to some degree. My high school daughter's boyfriend seems into my kid's vintage stereos. We can refer to him as 'clinger' like I do. In an effort to share the bliss of the late 70s, this unit will soon be in his possession. Maybe he might enjoy having a sweet stereo like I did when was a kid. (still need to get some speakers for him)
Now that you know the back story, here goes my rebuild that took place over the past 4 weekends. I used Leestereo's list to some degree = his work is pretty badass and cannot say enough good things about his posts.
Here is my rebuild list in PDF:

My hopes it will help someone in the future... may post to follow.
