Hi John...
Took a bit of time but I pulled the old plug terminals and installed new posts on a back plate. Resoldered them in and bolted the plate to the back panel. Did something similar on my G7500 (that post might give you a better idea).

I can be pretty creative and mechanical at times.
 
im sort of stuck with flea bay,its not laziness but i feel you may have a better idea what is a QUALITY plug that fits (part number? or maker?) i was looking at some 2mm garolite g10 to fab up a mount,its a shame the newer pioneer speaker connections dont fit the back plate. i highly recommend watco danish oil finish for the woodwork
