Project turntable

Mrky

New Member
Hi I've have a pro-ject 1 xpression mrk ll turntable . And it runs like a dream. It come fitted with a ortofon omb cartridge with the 10 stylus. Could be what was fitted from new so over 10years.
So my Question is
I have a audio technica at3600l cartridge and stylus I can fit to it. But not sure if it's a good idea. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Or could this be a step backwards. Should I just update stylus on ortofon omb cartridge? Help
Thanks Mark

I have two broken on my Debut III. I am going to try to rewire it this week.

Come on guys, sure the wires are thin but I've managed to change the cartridge 4 or 5 times on my Pro-ject table without breaking a wire and that's with a seriously clawed arthritic right hand. My thumb and forefinger still work reasonably well though! :) I prefer a tweezers to needle pliers, but whatever suits.

Arthritic and carpel tunnel surgery here I use needle pliers as well. Only table of the four I have that I have busted wires on.
For some reason the connectors on the Debut III were tighter than others no way I could get them off with my fingers.
