OK, after all of the bantering and insults back and forth on Mulester's (blame the Mule) thread about Nikon vs. Canon I am here to settle this s**t once and for all !!!


This photo of my wife, the lovely Mrs. PV, was taken (by yours truly) with my Nikon D200 DSLR a few days ago fitted with my favorite portrait lens, the 85mm f-2 (AIS film lens) which fits my DSLR body just fine and with no special adapter needed. Can Canon do that right out of the box?? I don't think so!


This is the real un-manipulated, Mrs. PioneerVato just as she looked right after we awoke that morning of a few days ago. Nice, eh? Yes, be jealous. Be very jealous. It's OK, because I know you are.

OK, now here is a photo of Mrs. PioneerVato just moments later that I made with her Canon 40D DSLR just to prove to all of you Canon lovers what is up! :wtf: Is there any question to you Canon crybabies who profess like little girly-men that Canon is better than Nikon?? Come on, now! Do you really and honestly still think that Canon cameras and their POS lenses are better than the Nikon family of cameras and their superior Nikkor lenses? I don't think so!!:finger::butt2:

Hey, why do you think I can hang with the high schoolers? :D After a while you start to act like them, talk like them, and think like them. That's why they give us 10 weeks off so that we come back to some normalcy when the new school year begins.
 
Send her to me and I'll she how she photographs using my Leica and Bronica instead of those silly little pixel collectors.
 
Well, this is what I would expect if you turn all the in-camera proccessing off. Sheesh, how gullible do you think we are. These new fangled cameras can do amazing things when you set them to auto.

Hey, maybe the "beautify" filter was left off the Canon? Oh, crap???
 
And here I thought only several drinks could turn the "Canon" pic into the "Nikon" one...

mmm, well I did a similar test on my girlfried (she looks remarkably a lot like your wife), taken with my Canon 1D Mark IIn and a friends Nikon D3s and this is the results:

What went wrong? I had the beautifier filter turned off on the Canon and turned on on the Nikon...

Too many distracting lights for my taste. It would break my concentration on the music. Does look like an over the top system, though. I tend to go towards the opposite construct with the bare minimum to get the job done except for 3 turntables.
