Proper replacement for zener diode EQA01-2BR for Kenwood KA – 7100

Slowly working my way through a power supply and a precious Kenwood, KA 7100. One of the Zeners is shorted and I want to make sure that I get the right replacement. An informed ruling on this would be greatly appreciated.

As an extra bonus for me, I’m a newbie, what does the suffix – 2BR mean? how does that change things or tune things up?

another replacement possibility would be to bump up the new zener diode wattage to 1w or 1.3w depending on component manufacturer.

some circuit designs run zener regulators a little too hot which reduces lifespan of the component and the domino effect on the surrounding circuits. just a thought.
