I purchased a Proton AA-2120 amp. It was in almost perfect physical condition, in the original box, but it had an issue on one channel that I guessed was probably the protection relay. When I opened it up and started checking, I found a couple of bad solder joints that may or may not have been causing the problem- Don't know because I went ahead and changed out the relays at the same time that I fixed the solder joints. Anyway, I don't have and can't find a schematic or service manual for this model. It's all working well now, but I'd like to set the idle current but I don't have the specs. Measuring across emitter resistors it's quite a bit different, L to R. It's barely getting warm. It has 4 output transistors per channel- I think they are paralleled pairs. Emitter resistors are .22 ohm. I believe that the AA-2080 is similar, but the AA-1150 and D1200 apparently are not. Any one have any information or know where I might be able to locate a service manual? Thanks!
