Thank you guys - now you have made me a proud owner of an upscale NAD? all in one system for $34.99 + $14 shipping.

I am love with the all in one concept - nice and tidy, and if it's quality piece like this promises, I am all there...can't wait to hear it - :)

Well FWIW I have one and I love it. In case anyone's interested here's a link to my post with some photos in the "Proton, anyone?" thread that was started a long time ago.

It's an excellent little all in one unit, I use mine to drive a pair of Smaller Advents and I have a Technics SL-1710 with a Shure M95ED cartridge on the phono input and an Akai X-201D reel to reel deck on the line input.I modified the Proton's output jacks so they would be line level instead of volume controlled and I use them for inputs on the reel to reel deck.

I finally found a Proton remote control that operates everything on it, and it's the perfect little system for the den/office area (listening to it as I type this). It sits very nicely on top of my IKEA Expedit shelving unit, doesn't take up much room at all and it sounds huge!
 
I run all my AV stuff through mine, It took a lightning hit a few weeks ago, but seemed to shake it off pretty well. I love it because it can blow all the dog hair off the furniture, making my job a lot easier.
