Proton D1200 sadness

Seems we have the answer for thread renaming! If you do it, I definitely recommend making it "Proton D1200 and AA-1150 Owner's Thread." If you choose not to, let me know and I'm ready to do it.
I don't see the options to rename the thread, and I'm not a subscriber. I love AK and I've been a subscriber in the past, but I'm not jumping at the prospect of spending $25 to rename a thread. @karljansen - go ahead and start the thread you want for an owner's thread.

The D1200 is still on the "to be worked on" pile, so no change. Nobody has shared with me a photo of the text, so if you would that'd be *lovely*.

I haven't seen the power supply capacitors on these Protons go bad, but I don't have really wide experience (I have one D1200, and about six D940 receivers).

I'd be interested in joining a D1200 owners thread.
I too, own a D1200 (with mono-block switch) and the P1100 pre-amp.
A perfect combo.
Bought them in then 80's.
After years at my brother in law storage, I took them back.
I had them serviced, (elco's replaced, some soldering, LED replaced from VU meters).
It costed me EUR 700,00 for both amps, but after hearing them again, I immediately sold my Musical Fidelity M6 and started using them.
Also my speakers are vintage (Translator References) from the Dutch designer Hans Baan.
A Mac Mini (2014) with Audirvana as streamer (from NAS) and a Burson DAC, completes my setup.
Please let me know if there will be a thread for Proton D1200 owners.
