PSA: Nichicon TVX axial capacitors are being phased out

Just to make everyone aware who does any kind of repair work, Nichicon has scheduled their whole TVX line for EOL, last buy date is 10/31/19. Stock up while you can!

I noticed that last week, not good as I use a lot of them. I then went around to various places to stock up but then thought about it and I'll eventually have to use something else anyway so didn't order any. Probably go with Vishay/Sprague. I've been stocking up on many now obsolete parts I use especially CTS trim pots and ON TO-92 xsistors.

I had seen that on Mouser a month ago, but didn't see anything about it anywhere else.

On another note, OnSemi is issuing discontinuation PCNs quarterly now. So keep on eye on those. Still some useful parts left, and they don't want that....

I just got in a 100 of each MPS8099, MPS8599, MPSA06, MPSA56, MPSW06, MPSW56, MPSW42, MPSW92, KSA992, and KSC1845. They should last a while.
