Want to change my PSB subs over from the crappy plate amp that came with them to a real two channel amp (a heavily breathed on PL400) ..... issue is that there are three wires to connect to on each sub :
one thick black (presumably common)
two thin red wires ........they connect to two different traces on the pcb of the original plate amp
red to black 4.0 ohms / both reds ...ok
red to red 0.4 ohms ??????
if it was twin voice coil shouldn't red to red be infinity? (ie no continuity?)
i'm confused
