I have been fortuate to have Rich repair/ restore my CT-F950. These are real finicky to do right and Rich does it right. Beyond the impecable workmanship Rich's people skill and customer service are the BEST. Having vintage equipment repaired and sending from the east coast to Arizona can be quite daunting but Rich made it easy as he kept me well informed as he went on and his redo of my barely adequate packing was truely a lesson in how to ship electronic equipment. A very satisfying experience and a super functioning tape deck to boot.
I am also fairly new to the internet and Rich was kind and helpful in helping me navigate this site when I first found it.

This unit was possibly the prettiest one of its kind that I've had the pleasure to restore. She turned out real nice. These 950s are a bit finicky, when trying to calibrate for all 4 types of tape, but this one finally bowed its knee, and came into line quite nicely.

My hat is always off to someone whe is willing to truly invest in this vintage gold (err...silver). May it be that she sings sweet nothings in your ears for many years to come.

Anyone called to do business with Howard should do so without hesitation. He is quite gracious and patient. It took a bit of extra time to complete this job, and there wasn't even a hint of concern.

It has been a genuine pleasure...
