pv-1000

I have a Boston acoustics pv-1000 subwoofer-100 watts!
I brought it from the USA , to Sweden where I live.
No where on the plug to the wall does it say 120v-240v but on the bottom of the unit it says 6.0amp at 250v- and another place it says 10amps at 120v does that mean I need a inverter step down which I have or can I just plug it in with tip adapter for plug?
As it is $1.00 per watt-I am not willing to find out the hard way/ Any thoughts thanks!

If your power there is 220/240 then, yup! You need a step down transformer. The 6.0amp@250v is the fuse rating. The 120v 10amp markings means the wall voltage of the unit is 120 volts, and it draws 10amps.

Equipment like this often lists different fuse ratings and maximum line currents for different AC line voltages. If the labeling doesn't explicitly say that it works on a range of line voltages without modification, then it won't. Check with the manufacturer to see if it has internal hookup options for AC line voltage. You might be pleasantly surprised.
