Q: Procedure to Properly Adjust the Tonearm Tracking

Picked up a Pioneer PL-71 and would like someone to help me properly adjust the tonearm tracking. Can an expert lead me through the process.

What would be a good cartridge/stylus for it. It has a Pickering V15 cartridge but not sure how old it is. Thanks.

The manual is available for free download over at vinylengine.com. It explains how to set tracking force.

The Pickering V15 was their lowest level of carts and the stylus is probably worn. I'd definitely suggest a new cartridge. The AT95E, HE or Sa are nice cartridges for this table. Sold at lpgear.com under their name.
