Qobuz issues.

Does anyone else have problems with Qobuz going garbled and static sounding?
I am running the desktop app and when it does this I shut the app and restart and it's okay again.
I am using a DacMagic 100 dac from my PC to my reciever.
It seems to do this more often when I'm trying to run another app at the same time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No problems on my end. I am streaming with my Teac NT-505 with Cat8 Cable. I can listen to music and surf the internet with no issues.

I will on occasion get static running Amazon MusicHD from an older iMac to an external DAC via USB. Usually happens when I have a number of other programs open (and only 8gb of ram). Typically I just turn my DAC off/on and that does the trick.

I had problems getting the Windows App to run under Windows 10 64 bit using WASPI, found that it would stutter and not always load tracks at all, even though there was ample bandwidth. Qobuz would run fine in the browser but not in the App. Qobuz technical support were of little help unfortunately. Eventually figured out that if I changed to running using ASIO4ALL V2 the App would work fine. Also found that Qobuz can be accessed using Audivarna under Windows 10 64 bit, although there is an additional cost for that software..

Thanks, I never thought to just switch the dac off and on.
I've heard of using Audirvana, but not sure how to do that.

I thought I read of using Audirvana but not sure how to do that. I'm not real computer savy with those kind of things...lol!

I use the Qobuz app on my iPhone - it talks to an Airport Express and that feeds my DAC with no problems.

I have been using Qobuz on multiple platforms, MacMini (20140, multiple Win 10 PC's with optical output and iPads/Bluesound streamer (we have a family plan). The only weird experience I had was that periodically on the MacMini, the music would stream at a high rate of speed like running a tape deck at faster speeds. I then have to stop, quit the app and relaunch it again for the app to play at proper speed. This does not happen anymore and I have no idea why.

I just re-upped for another year of Qobuz because it's been working so well for me. :dunno:
Yep, my annual comes due mid-December - I'm feeling the same way. Love the open discovery of new music!
For the cost of 1 new CD a month, it's a no-brainer!

I really do like Qobuz and wish I did'nt have these problems.
The other problem I have is I wanted to use it through Audirvana and that app asks
you to sign into Qobuz to do so.
I log into Qobuz using Facebook so I really don't have a username or password for it so it won't let me in.
How do I get in then?

No issues with it here. Either standalone or through Roon. A bargain for what it offers, and in real hi-res.

Qobuz is a paid service -
I don't what you are describing since there is no anonymous usage.
You either log in, or you don't use it.

Have you tried your Facebook login info? I assume you have a Qobuz account?

Sounds like you need to contact Qobuz to check your account -

Just another "no issues" here voice even when streaming 192/24 content. I sometimes use the app on a MacMini in the office but usually play it via LMS plugin across multiple systems.

I did, however, have buffering issues when I used the browser version under Firefox. Chrome does better in that regard.

In Windows 10 you need to confirm in Settings that your DAC is configured to the appropriate resolution, e.g. set it to 24/192 if that is what you are streaming. If it is set lower than this it can sound garbled.
