Quad 8 track player

Is it possible to input a quad 8 track player to two different brand stereo amps. The 8 track player is a Panasonic RS-845US 4, the speakers are Polk RT 8001. The amp I'm using now is a Panasonic SA 505 and is a little low in power to drive the speakers properly. This is system I have set up in the basement and is not the main system in the house. I know there are 4 channel amps available but I'm trying keep the cost down.

Yes, absolutely. If one amp has more power than the other, use it for the front channels, with the lower power amp for the rear.

Happy trails,

Plenty of them out there, getting expensive for the good ones. Always replace the foil splice, I forgot recently and was so wrapped up on hearing one of my old quad tapes of 25 years ago that I didn't see the 35 feet of tape on the floor. I had the top off a newly acquired Panasonic Se-4340 so no harm was done to the tape.
