Quadraflex 676 Receiver

I recently purchased a Quadraflex 676 receiver from eBay. Is this a good receiver? I know Quadraflex was a house brand of Pacific Stereo. Does anyone have any detailed info on this receiver, or anything to say about it? I believe this puts out 100 watts per channel. Does anyone know when these were made between? I would guess around 1976 or so?

Hi yes they were the house brand of Pacific Stereo(the starter series)Concept was the higher end receiver's,i'm sorry to say it isn't 100watts per side, just 18watts per channel. But a nice piece anyway.

Well 18 watts is better than nothing! I saw online some people said it was 100 watts?

People read the label on the back that indicates the power draw of the stereo and think that is the output.

100w draw is appropriate for a 15-20 watt output receiver.

100 watt output receivers require something like 400-500 watts of power on the cord.

Very common misunderstanding.

My wife has one from her teen years, her first stereo. She has the original paperwork. It was recently used for 2 months as our AV system while my Onkyo was out for repair. It worked fine and is now once again in storage.
