Quads a must for a pair of Mono Blocks

So I have just imported a pair of Knight Mono blocks, and have started looking for tubes for them.
My first of many questions

I need 4 12au7 and I have found someone a little south of Seattle who is offering a matched pair of NOS RCA 5814/12au7, and a Matched pair of Sun 5814/12au7 (I have been unable to find a review/info on 'Sun'?)
How important is it to match all four tubes on the two mono blocks?

The pair also use 4 5881 and 2 5v4g.

see if you can get the EIA codes off the "sun" tubes. I'm almost certain they were made by one of the big names.

You want to match the output tubes in pairs as close as practical, though you can balance them out with the adjustment on the amp to correct for any minor mismatch. The one 12AU7 that feeds the output tubes needs to have each of it's "halves" internally matched fairly closely but that tube doesn't need to match the one at the front end of the amp at all. You don't need to match the tubes in the left amp to the tubes in the right amp, but you probably ought to have the same kinds of tubes and in similar condition to minimize differences in sound.

Some one said on the other thread I have for the Knight amp that it is best to match a pair on each amp at V-2, more so then matching the pair of 12au7 on a single amp.
Would it still be best to match the 5881 on a single amp?

For the power tubes on my Knights it listed 5881. But can they handle 6L6 tubes?
The Tube Store lists 5881 as a 25watt tube, and the 6L6GC or WXT as 30watt tubes

other then power/wattage is there a sonic benefit to running 6L6 tubes?

My hope is to get these up and making sound at a reasonable cost. I will spend some time enjoying them, and then start to ask how to improve the sound. Which tubes to roll in.

Can I get some pointers on good/cost effective tubes?
