Question about my Philips CD 880 player

I really like this player, which I have had for some time, but I have a question for you experts. Apparently this is a very well regarded player that potentially has an awesome DAC and mechanism. I had no idea, I just enjoy the sound.

Here is a quote from eBay regarding one for sale:

"Philips CD880
Mechanism: CDM1 Mk2 (best one)
DAC: TDA1541a Crown = UNOBTAINIUM today / Best chip made
Legendary CD player"

How do I know if mine has the same mechanism and DAC?
My owners manual has been of no help. I appreciate any and all answers.

There are different TDA1541a, no-crown and one or two crowns, which are printed on the dac chip itself. (if you want evidence you have to open it up as SoNic67 states...)
As always, stuff is probably already in the specs and on the internet.
