Question about Right Channel Issue

I have a Teac turntable connected to a Sansui receiver and JBLs. When I first turn it on, it plays from both channels perfectly, but after a couple minutes, the right channel gets super quiet. If I switch it to mono on the receiver, both channels function perfectly. Has anybody had similar issues?

First question would be does it do the same thing with all sources such as am, fm, or inputs other than the tt.

If it’s just the tt that does this, I’m guessing it’s the headshell to cartridge clips.

Switch your RCA turntable cables at the phono input on the receiver from L and R. Does the issue switch to the left channel? If it does, problem is the turntable, most likely headshell/cart connection. If the problem stays in right channel, might be something wrong with the right input on the receiver.
