Question about VU's on the Technics SU-7700 amplifier

I bought a Technics SU-7700 amplifier and I have a question. The VU pointer on the left channel when the amplifier is off or with the volume at 0 is a little lower on the scale (as you can see in the photo I sent). Is this normal or is there a problem?

Most meters have a little plastic screw adjustment just below the needle magnet. You might have to take the cover off and look if you can see the meters in their entirety to see if there are any kind of adjustments.

As long as the amp works and sounds fine, this would most likely be a minor adjustment.

Is there a YouTube video or schematic showing how to remove the cover to access the meters? The amp sounds fine and works fine, but I'd like to be able to adjust the meters. Another issue: the plastic cover on the power button is cracked, and I'd like to replace it. I saw a button from a Technics SU 7300 that appears to be the same as the one on the SU 7700. Is it the same or different from mine?
