'87 Subaru GL. It was actually my ex-wife's car which she bought brand new before we got married. Slow, pathetic car.


What's the smoothest riding car you ever owned?
 
As with last year, I expect I will spend a large portion of my time praying for rain. Some travel too. Will probably do a little swimming in the lake as well.

Do you have a good place to go swimming near where you live?
 
Usually 3X a week after July. More often if it's hot and dry, which (as discussed) it promises to be for most of this summer.

Besides swimming, what's your favorite thing to do on a hot day?
 
No, but I wold if I had more free time!

Do you like to go camping or Glamping?
 
at this stage of my life, glamping. last time I went camping I ended up doing motels, gear in the truck.

if you had to live in a tv show, which one?
 
years ago I had a buddy working for a very low-budget radio operation
he was doing high school basketball announcing and doing it all by himself
I helped him out a few games doing commentary.
I knew little about b-ball and got a library book for research. the only thing I remembered is that if the defense presses, the offense needs to pass the ball and stay in the middle of the court.
sure enough, first quarter, defense went into the press, and I was able to share said info.
no $ but an interesting experience.

most recent music concert?
 
I have spent a few days trying to remember and can't be sure. I think it was a local jazz band in San Antonio.


Have you ever seen a local band live that totally blew you away?
 
my radio friend took me to a local group practicing in their living room. really good. country cover band. I don't think they ever performed in public.

are we keeping cool this weekend?
 
Shouldn't be too bad today, but it's supposed to start heating up again tomorrow.

Could you use some rain where you live?
 
In my younger days, it was having a faster car than they had and knowing the back roads better. ;)
