Question for anyone who has recapped/repaired a Concept 11.0 Receiver

Hi all,

I recently got my hands on a decently clean Concept 11.0 Receiver, and I'm looking to give it a little TLC on the internals. As has been published in this forum and elsewhere, the inside of the receiver chassis is pretty nicely organized, and all of the boards are connectorized and mostly easy to remove.

However, since there's no exploded diagram of the chassis (or any form of service manual aside from a schematic) available, I'm a little unclear about how to remove the tone amp board and the other PCBs that have interfaces to the front panel (buttons, knobs, etc.). The tone amp has a connection to the chassis on the bottom side, but other than that, it seems to be held in place up by the tone control/balance pots. I'm wondering if the faceplate has to be removed in order to get these boards out.

If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Binkman -- that's what I thought too. I've tried to look around with a flashlight inside the front panel holes for the knobs, and through the sides, and don't see any retaining nuts. I tried gently sliding the board back once I removed the one screw I could see, but couldn't get it to budge. Didn't want to yank too hard, and figured i'd ask here first in case anyone had any experience with this.

Look for retaining nuts on the pot shafts themselves. If so remove nuts/washers and remove board.
