Question for model 7/7T preamp owners

What color does the pilot lamp on the model 7/7T preamp show? My model 33 pre has a typically Marantz warm blue glow from the pilot lamp, but my recently acquired model 7T pilot lamp is a somewhat harsher and brighter yellow-white. Is this preamp missing a hidden piece of vellium or something, or is the pilot lamp supposed to be this yellowish-white?

pilot lamp + lens

The lens in the 7 and the 7T is white/clear from factory. The bulb behind the lens should be a #49. If you ever see (I'd hardly believe it) another color on that lamp/lens - it has been altered.
