Question on Schematic - Capacitor Polarity

Hello, I am recapping an old Grundig 2440 radio and was confused about the polarity of the C2 cap in the schematic. Normally electrolytic caps are wired negative to ground, but this schematic seems to show positive to ground. The original capacitor had a band around the end toward the tube socket, and non-banded end toward ground, which seems to suggest positive to ground, but just want to confirm my understanding here. Picture of schematic attached. See circled C2 cap. Thanks!C2 Cap.JPG

Aha! Yes, thank you for the confirmation! I should have traced that back to see it was connected to the plate.

This isn't correct. Electrolytics are wired with the more positive voltage on the + lead, and the more negative on the - lead. In this case, -1 volts is more negative than 0, so the negative lead goes to the -1 volt. And zero is more than -1, so it goes to the positive end of the cap.

Thanks Steve. I'm just getting back into the hobby after a couple of years away, so I appreciate the guidance!
