Questions on Vifa Tweeter Dome Materials

In Vifa’s data sheet archives they categorize their dome materials as fabric, textile, plastic etc. My question is what is the difference between fabric and textile in reference to Vifa tweeter materials. Could what they call fabric be just a woven polymer and the textile silk or some other natural material? Are what are called plastic and polymer solid (not woven polymer) domes? I’m replacing some Vifa OEM tweeters in a pair of speakers I have and the manufacturer’s spec sheet says the tweeter dome is polymer. The closest replacement I see for it is the D26TG-35-06, which Vifa refers to as having a textile dome.

The polymer domes are formed sheet plastic/polymer. Looks almost like rubber.

Textile and fabric are effectively the same thing.

Gordon.
