Looks exactly like the assembly I use in my Dual 1229Q. Even the label is the same. Whether it is glued in or snapped in is unimportant, as the cartridge clip looks right for your model, in spite of the poor photo. You will love the sound and tracking ability.

Thanks Seth,

Your knowledge and opinion is one I've come to really respect on this forum.

So if I get this assembly I don't have to worry at all about connecting the tonearm leads or any alignment of the cart? Just snap into the arm and balance it.

Thanks,
David

Thank you David.

The original plug-n-play set-up.
Just balance, set to 1.25 grams and enjoy.

Wow!

It arrived this afternoon. All I can say is what a night and day difference compared to my Stanton.

Playing a lp I just "rediscovered" yesterday after not hearing it for years, Santana greatest Hits. As great as it sounded on the Stanton, it's improved vastly.

The music sounds so full, with great channel seperation. The Santana guitar sounds awesome.

A very happy camper am I.

Looks like mine too.....

Eric,

There is still a case of Samual Adams in the fridge for you. I could not hold on to their Oktoberfest, though, as it was impossible to not drink such a smooth blend.
As soon as things here get ironed out.

Joe,

The Samual Adams you served was waaaay below freezing.
Yet, it was neither frozen or slushy. Really good on a 95 degree day.
