R-100 FM Reception Problem
I have two Yamaha R-100 receivers. I've read these have very sensitive tuners in them, and one of them indeed pulls in many stations throughout the FM band. The other R-100 seems unable to receive any FM signals above about 92 MHz. What could be causing this and is it something I could easily fix myself? I'm handy with tools and a soldering iron, but have no test equipment save a VOM meter. I have tried using different antennas but no change.
The Yamaha is part of my workshop system, so I'm not willing to spend a lot of money fixing it; besides, I have an HH Scott T526 (a superb tuner) hooked up to it, so I have the FM bases covered. But it would be nice to have the Yamaha tuner working as well; everything else on it seems to work fine.
Any help is appreciated.
