Joe Bussard passed away yesterday.

"Hi everyone,
It is with a very heavy heart that we make this post. Our family wanted to let you all know that Joe passed away peacefully at home yesterday evening.
We are hoping to plan a Celebration of Life in the Spring, and will let everyone know details when that happens. For now, we will be having a small service for our family only. We appreciate you all respecting our privacy at this time.
Joe would not want this post to be filled with grief and sadness, so feel free to share your favorite memories and music in the comments! In lieu of any flowers, we are asking that donations be made to Frederick Health Hospice. They were a big part of keeping Joe comfortable in his last weeks."
He was truly an amazing human being, with a passion for music, he himself was a great musician and with his legendary collection of 78s, preserved some of the rarest recordings.
