Super Member
Legendary composer and percussionsist Ralph MacDonald passed away yesterday at age 67. To those who may not know or remember Ralph, he composed the grammy award winning song "Calypso Breakdown", from the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack, "Where is The Love" performed by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack, and "Just The Two of Us" and "Mister Magic", performed by Grover Washington Jr. MacDonald also wrote other hit songs for and performed with many other major artists, in addition to releasing albums of his own.

Such a shame. I have been listening to my vinyl copy of "The Path" for the last few weeks, posted in the jazz fusion section if anyone wants a look. He truly was gifted...gone to that big jam in the sky.
