Howdy!
I've been lurking AK for a few months now since I was gifted a Crosley briefcase turntable at Christmas. Realizing how insufficient that turntable was, I started searching the web for different budget audiophile gear and AK was a constant source of good information, no matter what I was looking for.
Music has always been a focal point in my life. I remember listening to my dad's old hifi system in the early 90's as a kid. Of course, being born in '86, I only caught the tail end of buying anything analog. I had a pretty massive CD collection by the end of high school and of course began buying mp3s early in the game. But now, as a married man with two kids of my own, I really enjoy the ritual of going into my local record shop, digging through the crates, and finding that special gem.
All that to say, I'm excited to be involved in the AK community and look forward to learning from all the experience here.
