R2R 7" tape - this generic any good ?

[Snade]

Has anyone tried this tape ?

I'm not doing any "critical recording", just looking to record a few classical albums on tape using my Akai GX-266D reel to reel. Just for the fun of it.

Thanks.

I haven't tried it Mark, but for $10.00 new current product, I might have to pick up a couple of reels. :thmbsp:

I've been... meaning to... before it's all gone.
How bad could it be?

Well, "LL from NY" and "RC from LA" seem to like it!

For $10 it seems like it's worth a shot. I'm all set for now but let us know what you think about it Mark.

Ok guys, I'll order a few reels and check it out.
