Radio Antenna

Years ago I bought an outdoor TV antenna, medium sized. FM is broadcast between channel 5 and 6 on the old analog TV bands (pre digital broadcast). So any analog TV antenna picks up FM pretty well, better than the basic Dipole. But most are directional. Just keep that in mind.

The official AM antenna is a random length of wire. The longer the better, it gathers more signal. If you rotate, or move one end you will find you get better reception from your favorite station. Of course, each station will have a different optimal orientation but if you use a good long wire it will get good reception from most stations.
