My car did not come with an aux in plug, but one was available to connect between the XM/Sirius receiver and the head unit and it works. Problem being the android phone does not have enough output to drive the speaker to a reasonably loud level. When the level was loud enough there was very noticeable crosstalk. Ghetto repairman that I am, I unhooked the Sat radio antenna and that took care of the crosstalk, and it is better but now there is hum and noise in the background (How does a DC powered unit develop hum?). So I am thinking, I need to raise the output level of the headphone jack probably 3 to 6db, and I need to do it electronically. I have tried a few of the volume raising Aps and they are worthless. So I found this and it is affordable and will raise the level maybe 3db FiiO A1 Black Portable Headphone Amp A1 specs here https://www.google.com/search?q=Fii...j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=fiio+a1+specs
