Good evening,
I have a Rank Arena Audio System 3000. It is a 3-in-1 tuner, cassette recorder, Garrard Turntable, and of course, amplifier.
The system has been out of use for a number of years. Unfortunately, today I tried to power it on, and while it did power on, all I got from it was a slight buzz. The sound did not change no matter how much I tried to change the volume and treble/bass settings. You might be interested to know that when I tried a cassette in record mode through the radio, while the speakers still did not put out any sound, the vu meters where moving, so a signal from the tuner was reaching them.
Does anyone please know what might be wrong? This is a very high quality system (considering it is an all-in-one), and I would like to hear it play again. Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
George
P.S. I tried the headphone out as well, to no avail.
