$250? hmm.........as to value I am not sure. If I were closer I would take a tube amp over and hook them up and see. I am 99% so those will have a 16ohm impedance. I have a set taht is apparnetly a step or two below those. They sound pretty decernt on my tube amps and a bit harsh on the SS
I paid $5 for mine.
I am an avid lover of old speakes and those catch my eye, but at $250, i'd be hesitatn. This is just all personal opinion based on nothing more than gut feeling.
Hey Long walker, did you follow up on these. They are calling my name. I'd be intereted to know more. ANyone else have some input on these? ANyone doing a pony express to denver or nearby soon?

well those are for tube-type stuff for shure, i had a pair kinda like these a few yewars back, i got them with a pioneer sm-b200 tube receiver, wild guess id say early 1960s stuff, cool spkrs, and the ones i had sounded pretty good! 250 is kinda steep but you will probubly find another pair so if you got the money id snag them!!! good luck!!
