Raytheon 89 output tube?

OK, so I was out looking through some tubes today trying to find an RCA 807 replacement for the one I broke. Digging through the boxes I found 3 NOS still in box Raytheon 89 tubes that I wasn't even aware I had. I tried looking them up in my RCA manual and no luck. I found a couple references online and all they say is that it is a "Triple-Grid Power Amplifier = Class-A, Class-B Audio Output Stage". Anybody familiar with this one? Would like to know if it would make a good amp or not. Thanks, Marc

One thing is for sure, the 89 is not in the same league as the 807 as far as power
output level is concerned. The 'triple-grid' designation (instead of the more modern
'pentode') might indicate that this was one of the earliest amplifier tubes
with three grids. Any further insights, anyone?
