Hello again, as some mightve seen my last thread, I picked up the pioneer pl560 for 200! I'm loving it so far, except I need to do some work on it.
The right channel RCA plug breaks connection if it's in the wrong position. There is also an associated hum, less if right channel isn't working, and more if it is. I have bought new cables, the monoprice ones mentioned in this post to replace them

My question is, how should I go about changing the cables? And is using all the 6 ft length still okay or will degradation occur? Also what is a good way to extend the ground cable, just with speaker wire?
