I buy lots of albums on eBay and such.. and usually have a huge stack of media mailers to put in my recycle bin each week so it's not uncommon to come home with one sitting next to the front door. Today when I got home, I found a very peculiar mailer waiting for me!
99.9% of these things come from the post office or they're just generic white, but check this one out.. I could find a few things online of a RCA Victor Records Club, but I just thought it looked neat as hell - and old!

Not sure exactly how old this thing is, but how cool to get an album shipped to me in that!!

IIRC...zip codes were a 1963 innovation so it's before that.

Very cool indeed! Nostalgia is the reason for my quest to get the greatest albums ever on vinyl - so this piece fits right with the collection of all time greats that I'm accumulating. Hard to imagine that something cardboard is around 50+ years after the fact AND still be shipped USPS today. Far out.
