I am attempting to set up an RCT-4 to control my Linn CD player and my Sony Blu-ray player and have run into a snag. The RCT-4 powers up and enters Learning mode and will store learned commands. The commands are also transmitted to the IR emitter when the RCT-4 is in Learning mode. However, when I place the RCT-4 in Normal operating mode, no commands are transmitted to the IR emitter. I have a data cable connected between my C2200 DATA port and the RCT-4 DATA IN (12' stereo 3.5mm plugs). I thought that the C2200 should send a control signal to the RCT-4 when the appropriate input was selected to activate the appropriate IR channel?
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I measure no voltage at the DATA port output on the C2200 when I switch the input to the appropriate device...anything else I am missing?
