Re-glue A Cloth Surround?

I have a 15" Cerwin Vega woofer with cloth surround in really good shape. However a section of the surround has separated from the frame. I have some glue from a Simply Speakers foam surround kit left over. Can I use this glue and a small brush to get under the lip and re-glue it? Is foam adhesive glue suitable for cloth surrounds?

And I Love Simply speakers Glue!!

And I'd Reinforce the whole thing with the glue...

I did All my speakers at the center where it attaches to the voice coil and The spider and the edges where it attaches to the baskets and The cone

Thanks, once I get the surround glued I'm just waiting on new tweeter diaphragms. And I'm done rebuilding these 380SE's. I got lucky with the mice damage. No corrosion and just one wire had a little insulation chewed. It didn't look like they lived in there long. Just a nest in each one and a few droppings. One smelled a little so I doused it with Lysol and some candle smoke. Re-gluing the cabinets was an adventure. I used Loctite industrial adhesive. Seems like it adhered pretty well even in areas where there was remnants of the factory glue.
