The Sony speaks go with a rack system, they're junk, use the Klipsch.

Have a garage sale, sell the junk you've been posting and use the proceeds toward something worthwhile.
Shelf systems are even lower quality then soundbars ? Right ?
Why did they even make them ? Like upgrade from those little CD player things ?
 
Another consideration. If you plan to eventually go ATMOS some say monopole direct radiators are best for the rear and side surrounds.
How far from the wall can you use rear ports?
I need a new receiver for atmos the onkyo 818 came out right before it , if atmos sticks around long enough I may get a amp that runs it as long as it’s aatleast as good or better then 818.
Maybe when I find a job I’ll start saving.....

Bookshelf are better speakers but not for back walls .
