Realiistic STA 2600 running hot

I'm getting what I think is excessive heat around R801/R802/IC 801 (and heatsink). These components get really uncomfortable to the touch after 5-10 minutes and theres some discoloration of the board in the area

Resistors measured at 56 ohm and voltage drop across each was 9.3V

Output voltage from IC801 is 15.3V

Any ideas as to what might be causing the heat?

1.54 watts at each resistor. They look like 2 or 3 watt resistors, so not bed.

Check the voltages against the schematic. If within spec, it’s fine.
