Actually, the claim that the 2100 is a Pioneer re-badge is incorrect. The 2100 and the Concept 12.0D share the same amp section.

A few years ago, the toroid equipped 2100 regularly cracked $300 so $230 is not totally out of the question. In contrast, the Concept 12.0D consistently sells for less than the 2100 even though it has an excellent fully synthesized digital FM tuner.
