Realistic Clarinette 98 switch jammed

Hey all,
I just recently purchased an old Realistic Clarinette 98 at a thrift store. All the components work great, except the turntable off/on/auto switch is completely jammed. All other switches work fine, but the switch will not allow you to turn on the 'table. Please help!

I just recently purchased an old Realistic Clarinette 98 at a thrift store. All the components work great, except the turntable off/on/auto switch is completely jammed. All other switches work fine, but the switch will not allow you to turn on the 'table. Please help!

The record player/changer is a BSR brand. It is very common for the old lubricating grease to dry out with time and eventually turn into glue, freezing all the moving parts of the turntable including those that operate the switch. A very thorough cleaning and re-lube is in order.

Just came across one new with the record player paper and instructions on top. Blows my mind these are still available.

Wow! Where did you find that? Is it still available? I would love to reacquire one as it was my first stereo as a teenager.
