Realistic Lab 100... gem or dud?

Have the opportunity to pick up a realistic lab 100. In decent shape. Little under $100.
I've noticed there seems to be some love for the Lab 400's and 500's, But I really don't find a lot of appreciation or mention of the 100.
If anyone has some personal experience or words of wisdom I would love to hear it!

According to an old post I found on AK, it's a rebranded BSR. Belt drive, kind of a half S shaped tonearm. The poster said it was a terrible tonearm and had a floppy cartridge mount. Wood plinth looks nice. That's about all the info of substance I saw. Some Labs were great, like the Lab 400, which I've owned for many years but is made by CEC, a well known quality manufacturer. The 420 and 500 are great, too.

Not sure that 100 is worth a C. My opinion.

That's good info! I'm not terribly familiar with any of them. I like the look of the 100 I figured if not many people are talking about it or giving it love there might be a reason.

If you Google realistic lab 100, the first 5 or 6 entries are from this forum. Some good anecdotes in them. Good luck!
