Realistic Lab-420 problem

Hi AK'ers,

Picked up a beautiful Realistic Lab-420 TT, and need advice from the AK crew on how to adjust the tone arm when starting the turntable. (I'm really starting to appreciate the Realistic brand!)

When I move the start lever, the tone arm moves over like it's supposed to, but goes a bit too far, and starts a little bit into the song.

I've opened it up, but didn't see anything that looked like an adjustment to bring it back so it lands on the record at the right place.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give!

Good luck on your new table. I have a very similar Lab 400. Sometimes an automatic TT is nice. I put a LP Gear Vivid microline stylus on the original Shack labeled Shure M91. Sounds nice.

Desertmirage, Welcome to AK forum. I've found that VE site very informative. Invaluable for manuals.
