Realistic mach one. Just over hyped?

Just purchased some Mach 1 4024's, and have been listening to them for a week now. They're in minty shape and hooked up to an early 80's Akai with maybe 30 or 35 wpc. Sound pretty good to me. They hit harder and are just as shrill as my Klipsch RP6000's, while filling the room way better than the cheapo Dayton air T652 towers (with the ribbon tweeter) that are in my workout area.

Can't wait to do the VL mods and see if it helps push them permanently into the Living room. If not, they'll go to my workout area.

Receiver choice probably affects them, and I'm using a wiim pro plus mostly.

They like more power after the mods, bass really improves.
