Realistic Mach One Resale Potential

Hi! I have a set of Mach Ones (4024s) and STA2000. I love them to bits, but if I end up leaving the country again I'll probably end up selling.

I recently ordered a replacement sub by mistake, not realising that it was a crossover issue. My questions are these:

a) has anyone experienced any difference in quality between the new vs original woofers (note: surrounds are the same)
b) will selling the original and installing the after market affect resale? Or I best off just selling on the replacement?

Anyway just thought I'd ask the advice of you good people.

I'd sell the replacement, and keep both woofers the same and original.

I bought a 15 in replacement woofer for my Mach 1 -7 years ago from RadioShack. I could not tell the difference in sound, and the construction of the replacement speaker was not exactly the same as the original OEM speaker. I have owned Mach One speakers since 1983, I have just recently retired The Mach ones, I don't care for their sound. I have never touched the crossovers, I'm sure they need to be rebuilt to get the quality back in the sound, but for now I parked them in the closet

Is it one of the dedicated Mach One woofers Parts Express sells or just some random woofer? The swirled lines on those drivers are kind of iconic. If it's the cosmetically matched woofer, no biggie as far as resale. If it's a Pyle poly cone, yes, huge effect on resale.

Strictly my opinion and this may be just me...I prefer original stuff.
Or at least matching.
Sounds like the original works fine.
I'd return (if you can) the replacement, or sell it if you can't.
